LUXURIOUS PHOTOGRAPHIC HOLIDAYS AT GISBOROUGH HALL

Sometimes the anticipation is every bit as exciting as the real thing. And, yet that’s certainly the feeling you get as you turn towards Gisborough Hall. The hotel driveway offers inviting glimpses of the Gisborough’s stunning Victorian home through the gently blowing trees.

In every sense, Gisborough Hall is a breath of fresh air. Dating from the middle of the 19th century, the original house is an architectural delight with its family crests, antiques and fine English oil paintings scattered throughout a building of elegant proportions.

SUMPTUOUS INVITING INSPIRING

Retaining the quality and charm of the Victorian country house, Gisborough Hall stands back in wooded grounds. The rooms look out over the Cleveland hills and Guisborough forest. Around every corner of Gisborough Hall awaits another delightful and intriguing surprise.

Antiques, original oil paintings and ancient books adorn the walls while luxurious fabrics, sumptuous sofas, and roaring fires draw you into a wonderful sense of calm. You can retire to the inner hall in the evening, enjoy afternoon tea in the library bar or drawing room – in fact you can treat Gisborough Hall as your home, we wouldn’t want it any other way.

WARM GRAND PEACEFUL

With the North York Moors National Park stretching off into the distance beyond your window, your Gisborough Hall bedroom is a sure haven of peaceful good taste. Bathed in natural light, the rooms are elegant and spacious, offering the time and space to relax and, perhaps, fit in a little work.

The Hotel’s 71 bedrooms and suites are all furbished to a high and exacting standard. The 19 rooms and suites in the Old Hall have all been individually decorated to enhance their original features.

For that extra special occasion four poster beds are available in three of the bedrooms, or there is a pedestal bath set in the window recess of Miss Bruce’s Room.

The Woodlands wing of Gisborough Hall offers the weary traveller a contemporary range of bedrooms in the most classical of settings. Again each one offers something a little bit different, but guarantees one thing, that your stay will be a memorable and enjoyable experience.

RELAXED COMFORTING UNIQUE

Quite what turns a good hotel into a great one can be difficult to understand. Often it comes down to subtle differences like the service you receive or the food you eat. At Gisborough Hall, we believe the calibre of both marks us out to be something a little special.

Tocketts restaurant is regarded as one of the finest in the whole of the North East. In a determinedly classical approach to cooking, our chefs prepare exquisite dishes whose subtle flavours can only have come from the finest and freshest of ingredients.

EXPERIENCE MEET CELEBRATE

Abounding in rural charm Gisborough Hall may be, but the pressures of today’s busy corporate life demand something altogether more modern. As an integral part of the hotel development, we created a comprehensively equipped, and wonderfully appealing, conference and meeting facility. The magnificent Madoc suite with its adjoining conservatory has a 300 capacity, whilst the additional 7 meeting rooms offer ideal breakout or training facilities with natural light and WiFi internet access.

Team build & strengthen corporate relationships with 4×4 driving, archery, quad bikes all within the hotel grounds.

For that special occasion the Longhull with its feature fireplace and views over the North York Moors is perfect and for weddings Gisborough Hall is a venue that dreams are made of.

QUIET SOLITUDE GARDEN

Gisborough Hall is one of the finest hotels in the North of England with 71 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, most of which feature peaceful views over tendered lawns, elegant rose gardens or charming woodland.

Yet all of this secluded beauty is within easy reach of the area’s major towns and cities and, thanks to the extensive motorway network a short distance away, the rest of the country beyond.
